HockeyStars is an online hockey community with tools for coaches to manage their team. It’s a site for amateur players, coaches, managers, parents and volunteers who have a passion for the game.

At HockeyStars.com you can:

  1. Create your hockey player profile
  2. Add your team and invite your teammates to join
  3. Share photos and videos with your family, friends and team
  4. Share messages with teammates and participate in the HockeyStars community
  5. Share your game schedules and stats
  6. Earn HockeyStars points

HockeyStars points are automatically awarded to your profile when you register. Then, points continue to be awarded for the things you do on HockeyStars. Get all the details on Points in the help section. As HockeyStars gets rolling, we'll continue to update the community about points right here on the blog. We'll also be sharing training tips, equipment tips and coaching advice! So be sure to check the blog regularly (or subscribe via RSS) to stay up to date with what's new.

Thanks for checking out HockeyStars. We made it good, you'll make it great!

Hey there;

i'm new to hockeystars.com wanted to say hi!! I have been a professional trainer specializing in Hockey performance for almost a decade, Kinetic Excellence Inc. is my company and although you've probably heard of us training UFC champ Carlos Newton and Football Pro's we have been running a fully holistic physical, mental and skill improvement camp in Sweden each Spring for 3 years now. Our goal is to promote the Canadian game and give our boys some international experience at the same time. We have sent over 30 players to the NCAA, OHL, USHL and ECHL so if you have any questions shoot...! I want to know if there are any teams interested in having an intense 1 to 8 week camp run featuring their own players in their own surroundings... local and intense, I will bring therapists, trainers, equipment etc... plus we have used Jerome Dupont coach of the junior National Cnd team and Dave Leger Head coach of the University of Ottawa so things are looking great for OUR GAME... does not matter the age or level of skill, we promise results you will not only see but REAL quantifiable results on paper from start to finish and 100% accountable...

Thanks for having such a wonderful resource here for youth players.... it is an honour to be a member...

Matt

Hey Brookz, the site has two

Hey Brookz, the site has two registration setups - one for a personal player profile and another for a team admin. If you want to admin a team, you l need to register through the Team Sign Up. When you do this, you'll also be given a personal profile in addition to a Team page that you can manage. Currently, to register on HockeyStars you must be 13 years or older, so that's why we've started with Bantam. Lastly, thanks for the suggestion of adding a pic with the blog post - it's a good idea so we'll be taking it up!

site

I have been browsing thru the site again and cannot seem to be able to register my team profile because I already have an existing personal profile. Also it only starts with bantam age...why so?
I would like to register a novice team for both the parents and kids alike.
Lastly when I click on a perons name that has posted a blog it doesn't show their pic in the hockey card...why? I think that would look awesome...you already have the info and I am sure you must have the tools to do so.
The iPod I won is great...thanks.

Thanks canucks33. We are

Thanks canucks33. We are working furiously behind the scenes to make HockeyStars site improvements. All suggestions and input from site users will go into future site planning sessions so keep the comments coming!

Hockey Rules!!!

Site is awesome. I can really see what it will become once hockey fans take to the ice and start loading their pictures and highlights.

Would be good if on the "Recent Teams" section on the homepage there was an icon or thumbnail image of the team photo beside each team listing so you can see if they have a photo or not ---- would **save** me time clicking only to find the team hasn't loaded their photo yet. Just a minor idea to make the site even cooooooooooler!!!!!!!!!!

warning

Hey Mike, Thanks for the tip! We will definitely add a safety.

just a little warning

I noticed, that the edit and remove buttons for a player profile are pretty close together, I hit remove by accident, and It removed the profile immediately, a little warning like ' are you sure you want to remove this player? Y N" sort of popup would be very useful

thanks

Hockey Stars

Love the concept and the idea of bringing coaches, players, parents, and fans alike to one common stomping ground. Great to come to a place where ideas, visions, etc can be voiced to share with all who care about this great game so much like I do.
I am a small business owner who sells hockey apparel called Reaper Hockey. In southern Ontario alone we have sold more than 1200 shirts and hats. I do this because I wanted to be a part of my passion Hockey and provide something to the market that it was missing. Cool apparel with syck designs.
Visit www.reaperhockey.com to learn more.
Look forward to visiting the site regularily and picking up coaching tips...

Skaters wanted

Looking for quality skaters to join a solid group on Thursday nights at UBC. Post your experience and interest here and I will follow up.

Cheers.
